26. Grant Wood inspired Texas Hill Country Landscape
Join me at 1:00 today as we look at the work of Grant Wood. We touch a little bit on his American Gothic and then delve deep into his midwestern landscapes. In order to maintain sanity, I've tried to get out and drive up 281 towards Marble Falls. Today, I use the works of Grant Wood for inspiration as I recreate some of the Texas Hill Country. Are you interested in submitting to the the permanent collection? Email me at [email protected] with a photo of your work or do it via seesaw.
Tomorrow, we're going to do things that fly. I'm going to be using oil pastels to create a parrot and if there is time a peacock. You can do anything you'd like.
Friday we're going to do cityscapes.
