Paul Cézanne was a 19th century French Post-Impressionist painter who specialized in painting still life paintings. He inspired Matisse and Picasso and was said to spark the fire that lead artists from Impressionism to Cubism. He used big bold brush strokes. Today, his work inspires us. Today we draw and paint food. Go to your kitchen and take out a few pieces of your favorite food. At my house, we were lucky to find some nice bananas, limes, and strawberries.
