Introduction to the
Second Nine Weeks Introduction to Adobe Illustrator and we start to point out the differences between illustrator and Photoshop. We will take a look at workspaces, art boards, tool bars and command bars.

Piet MondrianPiet Mondrian was a 20th century abstract artist who painted with primary colors as well as black and white. Squares and rectangles were his main objects used. The focus of the lesson will be for the students to use the rectangular marquee tool with a colored stroke and a colored fill.

Monday
Keith HaringAdobe illustrator is similar, yet different than Adobe Photoshop. Students will look at a few different pieces of Pop Artist Keith Haring and create a piece that is similar to Harings using the Pen Tool and the Blob brush.

Henri Matisse
A lot of Henri Matisse's most famous art pieces are paper constructions. Below you'll see his works Icarus and The Fall of Icarus. We will be using the pen tool with different strokes and fills to create a look of of cut paper. We will add and subtract anchor points to get the pointed look for the stars.
